Scrink became my handle six years ago. It is a combination word made up of Tink and Scrappy. I’m “nerdish by nature” and love to learn about pretty much everything. So you’ll find pretty much anything on my site.

My name is Christy. I was born in 1981 (saying it that way allows me to tell you how old I am without having to remember to update my age after my birthday). Oh the cleverness of me. hehe. About me…? I’m beginning to see the light. I’m a believer. I’m not afraid of anything. I lied. I’m afraid of snakes, but that’s all. I’m on to you. I’m only happy when it rains. I’m walking on sunshine. I’m the only one. I’m too sexy. I’m still standing. I am a rock. I’m like a bird. I’m no angel. I am the walrus. I’m easy like Sunday morning. I’m just a singer in a rock & roll band. I’m finding beauty in hidden places. I am my mother’s daughter. I am my Dad’s Cinderella. I am totally in love with my husband and our two boys. I am what I am. My husband is a pharmacy tech who intend to go back to school once I am done being in school and he will be a PA probably. He’s not sure yet. Either way he’s always working to help heal people in one capacity or another. He is a fabulous cook and a total geek. Love him. He started writing for this site on Thursdays.

I have two amazing boys Braeden and Finnegan (2003 and 2009, respectively). That makes me an alarm clock, cook, maid, waitress, teacher, nurse, referee, handyman, security officer, photographer, counselor, chauffeur, event planner, hairdresser, personal assistant, ATM & I scare away the boogy man. I don’t get paid holidays, sick pay or days off. I work DAY & NIGHT. I am on call 24/7.

Braeden loves video games and is a great reader. He has an IgA Deficiency and is sick a lot which is upsetting, but has definitely made him a stronger, more compassionate soul. Finnegan is running around and getting himself into trouble all over the place. He is always smiling, giving out ornery looks and dancing. He has been taking part in speech therapy weekly for several months and it is working wonderfully. He talks ALL THE TIME now. It took awhile but his therapist is amazing.

I love anything artsy and play around with graphics and images all the time. I am a web developer full-time for the University of Delaware. Love working there! My opinions on this website have nothing to do with the University however.

I’m also in school part-time to finish up my four year degree, I already have my Associate’s Degree in Interactive Media Design.

I love Tumblr and Twitter. Couldn’t possibly care less about MySpace even though I do network through there sometimes. I have a Pro Flickr account because I love taking pictures and will always need the extra upload space.
