Seattle-based quintet Minus the Bear is proud to announce the addition of four weeks worth of tour dates on their already successful North American headlining tour. Currently on the west coast with upcoming shows at The Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles and a performance at this year’s Sasquatch! Music Festival, the band is on the road in support of their new album OMNI, which debuted in the Top 50 of the Billboard Top 200. The new set of dates begin June 25th in Victoria, BC and include a performance at this year’s Lollapalooza. Released May 4th on Dangerbird Records, Alternative Press calls OMNI “An immaculate vacuum of dark-yet-catchy ’80s prog and new wave” and “the perfect album to launch [MTB] into another dimension entirely.”
With deep bass lines, provocative lyrics and use of the Japanese Omnichord synthesizer, MY TIME, is a rush of pure electro-pop lust, revealing new layers in the band’s songwriting and inimitable musical style.
