Christmas magic in the form of beautiful twinkly lights. The colors and the music, the winterscapes crafted out in such a gorgeous fashion. The wind chill was 11 degrees, but it was totally worth it. I have never seen anything quite like it. Every scene was vibrant and stunning!Thank you to @brian2dot0 for surprising me with a trip to Longwood Gardens last night. I had such a wonderful time and definitely felt the magic of the holiday season while walking the grounds.❄️🕯🥶🎄❤️✨️

When I talk to the kids after school I ask them a couple specific questions in an effort to hear about their day without shrugs, "I don't knows" or "nothings."Yesterday, Finn came home, walked upstairs and before I could say a word he said, "Hi Mom, how was your day? Did anything interesting happen? Did you ask any good questions?"😂 haha love #mybestfinnSo I told him about my day. And then he let me know he earned 100% on a tough Civics project he had worked on last week! He also showed me photos of the locker he is restoring in autobody.Then today, Amelia let me know that her North America project for social studies earned 100%. She and her class partner were the only kids in the 6th grade to earn a perfect score.Well now. This is a fabulous way to close out a hectic week. I love my family so much! Now matter how stressed I feel, I know that I am beyond blessed.
